Possibly the cheapest form of renewable energy in the future is going to be wind power. Solar panels are good but you have to find places to mount them. Also they are not as efficient at turning sunlight into energy as wind turbines are with wind.
Actually, a good self-sufficient premises will probably use both, but this site is all about wind power. There is so much information about wind turbines popping up in the news each day that to put all that news in together with all forms of alternate energy would make for a bulky and time-consuming site to read.
