WSSC aims to cut costs by buying wind power
(Gazette.Net: Wed, 20 Dec) Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission officials are touting their plan to get one-third of all their electricity from wind power in a deal they estimate will save the water and sewer utility $2 million annually.

Enel makes further investment in wind power
(Energy Business Review: Wed, 20 Dec) Italian utility Enel has purchased 195 wind generators for E138 million from Spanish firm Gamesa. Enel intends to install the new 166MW capacity within its domestic wind power infrastructure.
