UK must look beyond wind power
(Scotland on Sunday: Sun, 10 Dec) WIND power is inconsistent and "must not be allowed to squeeze out other technologies that have more to offer", according to a major new survey.

Utah State studies wind power
(Provo Daily Herald: Sat, 09 Dec) LOGAN - Utah State University wants to know if wind from Logan Canyon can keep campus lights on. The school is collecting wind data near the school's power station. The study could last a year. "It's fairly commonly known that there is a strong wind every night out of Logan Canyon," said Ben Berrett, facility operations director.
