Retirement home in Haywood County harnesses wind power
(The Daily Comet: Fri, 24 Nov) Louis and Talitha Mes might be feeling some heat this winter, but not because of their utility bill. There's a wind turbine on top of a 100-foot tower a few hundred yards from their house. With some solar panels, there's enough electricity to power their retirement home in Haywood County.

Hindustan Zinc plans 4 bln rupee wind power plant
(Reuters via Yahoo! India News: Thu, 23 Nov) MUMBAI (Reuters) - Top zinc producer, Hindustan Zinc Ltd., said on Thursday it plans to enter wind power generation by setting up a 75 megawatt unit at a cost of 4 billion rupees.
