KSU Professors Use Grant Money to Research Affect of Wind Farms

(Bloomington Pantagraph) Horizon Wind Energy may expand the Twin Groves Wind Farm in eastern McLean County. Workers began erecting the first towers of the 240-turbine wind farm this week.
Fears wind farm will scare horses
(MK News) Plans to build 16 wind turbines across a historic bridleway could decimate a local stables business. Up to 120 horses and ponies use Three Shires Way at Nun Wood, near Lavendon, Bozeat and Harrold but, if approved, the 125m high turbines would surround the animals.
Maple Ridge Wind Farm Celebrates Clean Energy for the Empire State
(Business Wire ) The biggest windfarm in New York state, owned by ScottishPower's US subsidiary and its local partner, was formally opened today (Tuesday) near Syracuse.
